Almaviva is a renowned wine brand located in the Maipo Valley of Chile, one of the most prestigious wines in Chile.In the tradition of top Bordeaux estates, Almaviva also produces a second wine called EPU (meaning "Two" in Mapudungun).Almaviva wines are aged in French oak barrels for approximately 18 to 20 months.In recent years, there is usually about 70% to 80% new wood.

This is an exquisite and delicate red wine, with flavors of tobacco, dried herbs, wet earth, and currants. There are also hints of leather and rose petals. The body is full and chewy, yet refined and delicate. It is both rich and intense. The mid-palate is very concentrated, with layers of rich tannins and fruit aromas. It is a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Carmenère, 6% Petit Verdot, and 3% Malbec.

Grape varieties: 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Carmenere, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot.
