Chateau d'Armailhac is one of the five major Bordeaux estates under Chateau Mouton.The winery, nicknamed "Single Guy" by wine enthusiasts in Hong Kong, features Bacchus, the god of wine and grapes.Chateau d’Armailhac is located to the north of the village of Pauillac, adjacent to the south of Mouton and bordering the Carruades de Lafite vineyard. This indicates that its vineyard also has quite excellent conditions, with the soil primarily composed of gravel, mixed with some sandy, clay, and limestone components.

The 2022 Château d'Armailhac is a quintessential Pauillac wine, meticulously crafted by the esteemed Baron Philippe de Rothschild estate. It pours a rich garnet-purple color and greets the nose with alluring scents of blackcurrant jam, dried plums, earthy nuances, and hints of dried lavender. On the palate, it reveals a well-balanced medley of dark fruit preserves and subtle earthiness, supported by fine-grained tannins and a lingering, gratifying finish. Matured for 18 months in French oak barrels, this wine exudes grace and complexity, echoing the distinctive character of its vineyard’s deep gravel soils and clay-limestone foundation.
