[Chateau d'Armailhac 2018]
Robert Parker rating: 93+/100
Chateau d'Armailhac is one of the five major Bordeaux estates under Chateau Mouton. The winery, nicknamed "Single Guy" by wine enthusiasts in Hong Kong, features Bacchus, the god of wine and grapes.Chateau d’Armailhac is located north of the village of Pauillac, adjacent to Mouton to the south and bordering the Carruades de Lafite vineyard. This indicates that its vineyard also has quite excellent conditions, with the soil primarily composed of gravel, mixed with some sandy, clay, and limestone components.
"Chateau d'Armailhac 2018 presents a deep garnet red color, with intense fruit aromas of crushed blackberries, warm black cherries, and mulberries, complemented by subtle notes of floral scents, spice cake, and graphite; the full-bodied palate delivers a wealth of black berries and a firm, grainy texture, with a potential freshness and earthy finish."It is a very magnificent Chateau D'Armailhac!
Grape varieties:
55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
