The 2008 Château Angélus is a brilliant success, offering classicism, energy, and exceptional value. Driven by the high-quality Cabernet Franc of the vintage, it displays a remarkably fresh and vibrant profile. Aromas of crushed raspberries, violets, graphite, and subtle truffle emerge elegantly from the glass. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, defined by a bright line of acidity and very fine, ripe tannins. This is a wonderfully precise and lifted Angélus with a long, energetic finish.
