"Chateau Pontet Canet 2010 is an absolutely stunning red wine, an intriguing red wine. It carries the classic Pauillac aroma and has an extraordinary richness and intensity, but never feels heavy, domineering, or astringent."Its freshness, laser-like precision, and rich, abundant depth and extract are truly worth seeing and experiencing.Tasting such a great wine from a great vintage can easily become tiresome, but experiencing something so astonishing is truly a privilege.Unfortunately, it needs a decade of cellaring, and assuming it doesn't decline in the next few years. This is a wine that can age for 50 to 75 years.
Grape varieties:
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc
