[Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1995]
Robert Parker rating: 95/100
Château Mouton Rothschild is located in the town of Pauillac in the Médoc region, 30 miles (50 kilometers) northwest of Bordeaux. Grand vin is one of the highest-rated and most expensive wines in the world, often considered the most vigorous and powerful of all Bordeaux wines. It was classified as a Premier Cru in the 1855 classification in 1973, which was widely known at the time.
"It presents an opaque purple color, exuding aromas of blackcurrant, truffle, coffee, licorice, and spices." In the mouth, this wine is "a great thing," with extraordinary density, rich personality, a sumptuous mid-palate, and a long, layered finish that lasts over 40 seconds.
Grape varieties:
72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot & 9% Cabernet Franc
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
