The French superlative second growth estate, Chateau Lascombes, was founded in the 17th century and is located in the Margaux region of Bordeaux, France. It is only a few hundred meters away from the famous Chateau Margaux estate and is listed as a second growth estate alongside the illustrious Chateau Mouton Rothschild, one of the renowned Bordeaux estates, with exceptionally high wine quality.
"Chateau Lascombes 2005 has a deep purple color, is extremely rich, and exudes beautiful spring flowers, blueberries, blackberries, menthol, and graphite aromas."The wine is full-bodied, with smooth but noticeable tannins, a rich and layered palate, and an astonishing finish that lasts over 45 seconds.This is an outstanding Margaux, capable of aging for 30-35 years.
