Chateau Bahans Haut Brion is a red wine from the Bordeaux region of France and is the second wine of the first growth estate Chateau Haut Brion in Medoc.In 2007, to commemorate the Dillon family's acquisition of the Haut-Brion estate in 1935, this second wine was renamed Le Clarence de Haut-Brion.The wine has a rich taste, with layers of spices, cigar, and blackberry flavors. Its style is intense, with excellent aging potential.Chateau Haut Brion is a winery with a legendary reputation: it is the only one of the 61 classified growths in Bordeaux not located in Medoc, and it is also the only top Bordeaux winery that produces both red and white wines.Additionally, although it is the smallest estate among the five great Bordeaux châteaux, it was the first to gain fame.
"Bahans Haut Brion 2001 presents a deep plum/ruby color with sweet notes of cedar, earth, and red-black currants." The body is medium, the texture is smooth, pure and delicate, with a long aftertaste, and it can be enjoyed for 5-8 years.
