[Le Petit Haut Lafitte 2014 Magnum Size (1500ml)]
Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte 2014 is the second label of Smith Haut Lafitte. Smith Haut Lafitte was revamped by French supermarket magnate Daniel Cathiard after he purchased the estate in 1990, restoring it to its top-tier status in Pessac Leognan.Due to the unique terroir conditions of this region being suitable for growing both red and white grapes, it has become one of the few Bordeaux regions where both red and white wines are excellent.Parker once awarded both the red and white wines 100 points in 2009 and 2010, making it a formidable force!
The 2014 Le Petit Haut Lafitte is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, made from a single block of Günzian gravel, with the Merlot planted on a block with higher clay content.Aged in 20% new oak barrels, it exudes rich blackberry and blueberry flavors, and during aeration, it releases the aroma of wild strawberries. The palate has a medium body, soft tannins, and sharp acidity.
Grape variety:
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot
