[Chateau Gloria 2013]
Chateau Gloria is a wine estate in the Saint-Julien appellation of the Medoc wine region, located to the north of Bordeaux, on the so-called "Left Bank" of the Gironde estuary. The estate did not appear in the official 1855 Bordeaux classification; it was formed nearly 100 years later by acquiring large plots from the classified growths of Beychevelle, Leoville-Barton, and Gruaud-Larose.The estate is often praised for its consistent performance and is widely regarded by critics as deserving of its cru classé status. Its vineyards cover approximately 50 hectares (124 acres), spread across multiple plots, including the Beychevelle area (and estate), the northern region bordering Pauillac, and the western part of the appellation. The soil is mainly composed of gravel on clay and sand, with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc planted.
Chateau Gloria 2013 exhibits a deep ruby color with a purple edge.On the nose, the pure red fruit aromas are very pronounced, with hints of cedar and graphite. The taste is very spicy and peppery, with bramble red fruit and clean, lively acidity.Saint-Julien cedar tannins impart texture, structure, and freshness to the wine, resulting in a truly magnificent wine.
Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc
