The super second growth estate Cos d'Estournel is located between Pauillac and Saint-Estephe, neighboring Chateau Lafite.The nature-respecting Chateau Cos d'Estournel meticulously selects the harvested grapes, then transports them using natural gravity methods, and strictly monitors the fermentation temperature.All the wines at the estate are aged in new barrels to emphasize the rich flavors and the expressive aromas of the wood.

"Chateau Cos d'Estournel 2008 presents a medium to deep garnet color. Upon opening, it releases an intense aroma of roasted cherries, pears, smoky vanilla, and warm black currants, accompanied by scents of wood smoke, Italian salami, and tobacco leaves. The body is medium, with an elegant mouthfeel, a salty earthiness, beautifully mature, with fully ripe tannins and a fresh sensation. The finish is marked by an enduring mineral note."
