Located in the Medoc sub-region, the Bordeaux wine region's official appellation (AOC) - Saint Julien is one of the six official sub-regions of Medoc. Bordeaux has 11 classified estates gathered here, producing wines of excellent and consistent quality. It is one of the must-try renowned red wine regions among Bordeaux's many sub-regions.

After proper aging, the wines from the classified estates of Saint Julien often exhibit aging aromas such as cedar and cigar, with just the right amount of body that does not overshadow the rich and abundant fragrance. They present a robust character influenced by Pauillac to the north and a softer feel influenced by Margaux to the south.
